Description & Mission Statement


Chaparral Women's Club is a non-profit service organization that has served the community of Round Rock for over 34 years.  Originally established in April of 1969 as a Junior Woman's Club made up of 14 Charter members it has now grown to over 50 active members.

Although no longer affiliated with Junior Woman's Club, the Chaparrals has maintained the original mission statement:

To promote member's awareness and participation in civic and community activities.

Chaparral Women's Club is a member of the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce.

Community Involvement - Member Projects

Club members volunteer their time to the community by participating in a variety of service projects such as:


Funds raised by the Chaparral Women’s Club go to non-profit organizations that serve residents of Williamson County. These organizations apply for grants at the beginning of the calendar year. After an extensive review process performed by a select committee of Chaparral members, the proposed recipients are presented to the club for final review and vote. Grants are distributed in the spring. In addition, Chaparral Women’s Club gives three scholarships to graduating seniors.

Chaparral Women’s Club has volunteered countless hours towards projects such as Coats for Kids, Round Rock Serving Center Annual Food Drive, Round Rock Volunteer Center,YMCA of Greater Williamson County, Meals on Wheels, Any Baby Can, Texas Baptist Children’s Home, Literacy Council of Williamson County, and Blue Santa.  For a list of current and planned service projects, click here.
Club membership is comprised of local business women, stay-at-home mothers, and professional volunteers. Although the women of Chaparral Women’s Club are diverse, each member is dedicated to community service.
