Chaparral Women's Club 2009 Grant Distribution Information
Chaparral Women's Club is a non-profit service organization which has served Williamson County since 1969. This premier group of women is dedicated to supporting valuable charitable organizations through volunteerism and grants. The work of the Club extends deep into the community through the spectrum of charities receiving support. Last year, the Chaparral Women's Club assisted over 33 organizations and presented grants and scholarships totaling over $47,500. Over the last decade, the Club has granted over $375,000 and countless volunteer hours to those in need in our community.
Our major fundraiser of the year, A Night in Casablanca Gala, will be held February 28, 2009. Guests will enjoy a fabulous evening of dinner, live music, dancing, and live and silent auctions at the beautiful United Heritage Center located at the Dell Diamond.
We will be accepting applications for our 2008-2009 grant process from January 15, 2009 - March 13, 2009. To be considered for funding, please submit a cover letter, written on the agency's letterhead, which briefly and clearly states the following:
- A brief history of your organization and its work
- The mission statement
- A description of the program for which funding is being requested
- The specific amount requested
- A copy of the organization's current tax exemption letter from the IRS
- A list of your current Board of Directors
- A copy of your agency's current budget
Please note that additional information may be requested as deemed necessary.
All requested information must be included to be considered for funding. Applications should be postmarked no later than March 13, 2009. NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DUE DATE.
